“ Called the day before, seriously less then 24 hours advance notice and they hooked up a catering for 35 people no problem. Very friendly and accommodating. They have hands down the best chips in Flint. The rice is seasoned to perfecting. Everyone loved the meal ”

My husband and I both got the chicken burrito dinner with white sauce and their famous chips . DELICIOUS,,every bite,, the flavors were better with each bite. The servings were very generous. We will definitely be going back . If you want to get out of the kitchen and treat yourself, I highly recommend getting some Tia Helita’s food. You will not be disappointed. ”

And their chips are made fresh - something few Mexican restaurants do anymore. The staff is always so friendly. “ Tried this place out after seeing their wet burrito has brown gravy-a favorite from my husband’s childhood. From the outside it really doesn’t look inviting but don’t let that stop you!! In addition to the wet burrito we ordered 1900 Margaritas, chips & salsa, and seafood burritos. Approx 60/2 adults. The rice and beans were unlike any Mexican restaurant we’ve been to and we’ve been to a lot of them! Absolutely blown away by how good this meal was. The seasoned stewed beef was melt in your mouth excellent! So glad we made the drive to check this place out. We will be repeat customers for sure!! ”

I just came back from a month in Texas and I prefer this Mexican food over the stuff served down there. My wife had the seafood burrito and I had the chicken taco salad. Both were quite good. Chips and salsa costs extra here. ”
